 CHAPTER 16

In the hospital, Lucky was lying down on the bed as a monitor was monitoring his heartbeat and by his side was Gabriela, She was worried then two people came into Lucky’s room,

“Oh My,” said the Woman

“Oh My God,” said a man

Gabriela assumed that those were his parents and looked flustered.

“Who is this child near my son?” asked the Woman

“Good afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Lookman,” Said Gabriela calmly

“Well,” The Doctor started "She was next to your son when he got knocked out just a mild concussion, he should be fine in a few days"

Mr. Lookman looked down in silence and sad because he quickly judged her, then he spoke "Are you a friend of his?"

"Yes sir." She said Politely.

“Wow, I never thought he had friends.”He said.

“Thank you for being his friend.” Mrs. Lookman said.

She nodded and looked at Lucky.

Lucky woke up with a start and said angrily “WHERE THE HELL AM I ?!”

“You are at the hospital,” The Doctor said

“I heard about your accident and this nice girl immediately rushed you to the hospital,” Mr. Lookman said

“Nice ?!” Lucky said angrily, “She got me into detention today over a silly matter.”

“But it was resolved right?” Mrs. Lookman asked with a bit of hope in her eyes Lucky looked at her and lied bluntly “Yeah I think it was resolved, My memory was a bit foggy. ”Mrs. Lookman sighed with relief “Okay, we are heading back to work, there is spaghetti for dinner.”

And with that, all of them left the room and it was only Lucky and Gabriela. At first, there was this silence to wrap up in the awkwardness of the situation. Then she spoke “I got to go home” then was about to stand and leave, But Lucky grabbed her hand and said in a soft meek tone “Pls Don’t leave me” and made her fall into a crazy amount of giggles
